The Towet. Tall buildings are often associated with commercial developments and as such looked down upon by parts of the architectural community. Perhaps understandibly so as they are often a formal exercise of undulating shapes wrapped in a curtain glazed facade serving as monuments over corporate entities.

This paper project for a tall residential building seeks to present an alternative approach; creating a hight-rise rooted in a historical narrative.

The tower has 18 flats and a communal roof terrace. The tower is divided into 10 sections. Each section is further subdivided into 3 stories.
